Jeff's next embedded trip to Iraq is now set for this fall (August and September), with time scheduled on the front lines in Anbar, Kurdistan, and Baghdad -- including back with the 1-4 CAV in Doura, and with a Joint Special Operations Task Force.
It goes without saying that this will be a crucial period in America's fight to save Iraq, as General Petraeus, commander of multinational forces in Iraq, will be testifying before Congress at this time regarding the effectiveness to date of his counterinsurgency and security strategy.
