Eric Cantor scares the pants off of Rahm Emanuel
Apparently so, anyway. Word on the street is that tough-talking Democrat representative Rahm Emanuel (no relation), head of the DCCC, has been challenging Republican congressmen to on-air debates, only to back out -- three times in a row now -- when he's found out that his opponent will be GOP chief deputy whip Eric Cantor (R-VA).
What could Rahm possibly be afraid of (besides the fact that Cantor just might point out the all-time record Emanuel, Pelosi, et al's Congress has set with its 14% approval rating)?
This unwillingness to debate isn't exactly a new thing on the left side of the aisle; remember DNC Chair Howard Dean's repeated refusals to debate Ken Mehlman?
