Black Hawk Down
I just popped the DVD in last night and watched it for the first time in a couple years. Despite a little bit of (inevitable) Hollywood overdramatization, I still think it's a heckuva movie, and that the actors and producers benefited enormously from the unprecedented access they were given by the Army SOF community in trying to get the details correct.
The biggest thing I noticed this time, though, came from watching the "behind the scenes" special feature on the DVD, when several actors said that getting to meet (and train for a few days with) the Rangers, 160th SOAR, and other operators instilled them with a whole new appreciation for the amazing men in our military.
Would that that would rub off on the rest of Hollywood a bit.
