1-4 CAV Update
The 1-4 Cav made the news as they began their transition north to Doura, their new area of operations. See the Stars and Stripes article here (.pdf file).
Also, I recently received this email from their Squadron commander, LTC James Crider:Tell everyone that 1-4 CAV has the highest reenlistment statistics in all of MND-B (all of the battalion/squadrons in Baghdad) and that A/1-4 [the Squadron's Alpha troop] has the highest troop/company/battery reenlistment statistics in all of MND-B as well.If that doesn't tell you something about believing in the mission - as well as about what amazing men these are - then I don't know what does.
